Sources: Patriots checked in with Chargers on trade candidates

The Patriots have checked in with the Chargers on apparent commerce/reduce candidates throughout this week’s open negotiating interval, sources instructed the Herald.

The Chargers are greater than $25 million over the wage cap, and so they should be compliant earlier than the NFL’s new league 12 months begins Wednesday at 4 p.m. Their most evident commerce/reduce candidates are extensive receivers Mike Williams and Keenan Allen and edge defenders Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack.
